Polyethylene wax (also known as PE wax) is a low molecular weight polyethylene polymer that because of it's low molecular weight has wax like physical characteristics.
Polyethylene waxes are being produced through the high pressure polymerization of ethylene. The wax can be used as a slip agent, disperant, resin modifier, and mold release agent due to its molecular structure.
Producing Polyethylene wax involves separation of the low molecular weight fraction from high molecular weight polymer.
Polyethylene waxes can be supplied in many forms. The can be supplied in bulk with the use of specialty bulk trailers that are heated. Polyethylene wax can be finished as a prill, or atomized powder. Polyethylene waxes can also be ground into various particle sizes. Based on customer's requirements different pickings is available for our PE Wax flakes including 15 kg Bags, 25 kg Bags and 1 MT Jumbo Bags.
